Biosketch

Dr. Shauna Kingsnorth, PhD, is the Manager of Evidence to Care, an organizational catalyst for knowledge translation in childhood disability, and a Clinical Study Investigator at the Centre for Leadership  in Participation and Inclusion at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She received her master’s and doctoral degrees in developmental psychology from the University of Toronto and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Childhood Disability at the Bloorview Research Institute. Dr. Kingsnorth also has advanced training in program evaluation.

As a Clinical Study Investigator, Dr. Kingsnorth specializes in knowledge synthesis, employing systematic, scoping and rapid review methodologies to identify best and wise practices in pediatric rehabilitation. Projects stemming from her interests in participation and inclusion include arts-based interventions,  tools to help talk about obesity with children and families, and interventions for caregiver stress.
