Biosketch

Dr. Anne Hunt, PhD OT Reg. (Ont.) is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream (Fieldwork), in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at University of Toronto. Dr. Hunt has extensive experience in clinical fieldwork scholarship, as a clinical fieldwork preceptor and site clinical education coordinator. She also has an active research program that focuses on 1) exploring how student led fieldwork environments can prepare system ready clinicians while simultaneously addressing health system gaps and research priorities; 2) fostering resiliency in health professional students; and 3) exploring occupation based approaches to recovery from mild traumatic brain injury/concussion in adults and youth.

Dr. Hunt has over twenty years of experience as a clinical occupational therapist in hospital and community settings and has supervised over 50 health professional students in a student-led concussion program. She is the recipient of numerous awards for excellence in clinical fieldwork teaching and inter-professional education.
