Biosketch

Rhona Anderson, DSc Candidate (expected completion winter 2021-22), is an Assistant Professor (Teaching Stream) and the Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy.  In this role, Rhona collaborates with the fieldwork team to enable a high-quality learning experience for students and a high-quality teaching experience for clinical partners. Rhona represents the Department and University of Toronto on rehab sector, university, provincial, and national committees.

Rhona has held a variety of roles within the health system in the United States and Canada, including as a clinician, program practice leader, clinical educator, quality and safety educator, and education lead for the Toronto Rehab program at University Health Network.

Rhona is an education investigator within The Institute of Education Research (TIER, UHN).  She is interested in health professionals education research, and specifically student leadership and collaborative leadership.  Her clinical research includes occupation-based assessment, specifically client’s perception of performance.
