Dr. Rosalie H. Wang, PhD, OT Reg. (Ont.) is an Associate Professor at Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, University of Toronto. She is also a member of the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute, an affiliated member of the Robotics Institute, and faculty affiliate of the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society. She is an Affiliate Scientist at KITE - Toronto Rehabilitation Institute – University Health Network.

Areas of Research / Educational Scholarship

Dr. Wang's research focuses on developing and implementing technology to enable activity participation and social inclusion of older adults and persons living with disabilities. She is leading research in technology for post-stroke rehabilitation, the implications of AI-enabled care technologies on social and healthcare ecosystems of older adults and care partners, and the potential for assistive technology bundles as a service delivery approach in the management of dementia. She co-led the most comprehensive project on enhancing equitable access to assistive technologies in Canada. She has a special interest in methodologies to develop, evaluate, and implement rehabilitation and assistive technologies.
