Initial appointment applications for Adjunct, Status Only, and Visiting Professor are accepted throughout the year. Those with existing professorial appointments that is due for renewal will receive a reminder email directly to renew their appointments in March.

In addition to the research course OCT1120Y, students in the department are encouraged to seek out research opportunities to develop their research skills and knowledge.
The department welcomes its Year 1 and Year 2 students to serve on the Research Committee. Contact Prof. Jill Cameron, Vice Chair Research and Chair, Research Committee, for further details about serving as a student representative.
Additionally, the Work Study program offers eligible students the chance for part-time employment in Research Labs and on research projects conducted by faculty members.
