De-Lawrence Lamptey

 Dr. De-Lawrence Lamptey is the inaugural EMBARK (Empowering Black Academics, Researchers and Knowledge creators) Scientist at the Bloorview Research Institute, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. He holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Science from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. He has several publications related to policy, programs, and services for children and youth with disabilities. 

Areas of Research / Educational Scholarship

Dr. Lamptey’s research focuses on the intersectionality of childhood disability and racial/ethnic identity. Through his research, he aims to better understand the unique experiences of racialized or ethnically diverse children and youth with disabilities and their families.
