2025 Fieldwork Education Awards

On February 18, 2026, we celebrated our incredible community of preceptors, site fieldwork coordinators and partner organizations at our annual Fieldwork Education Awards. 

A total of 89 awards were given out to acknowledge award recipients’ valued impact, as demonstrated in our students’ nominations. 

While the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy is committed to delivering a strong educational foundation for our Master of Science in Occupational Therapy students, this mission is made possible by the invaluable support of our dedicated fieldwork educators. Through their generosity, time, and expertise, they mentor and guide our learners across the 1,000 hours of fieldwork completed during the program, ensuring students gain meaningful, hands-on experience that prepares them for professional practice. 

Monisha Dhindsa (MScOT ‘25) shared her positive experiences during her fieldwork placements and how she is grateful for supportive preceptors who helped her prepare for her current role as an occupational therapist.
