Mary Forhan

Dr. Mary Forhan is an occupational therapist with a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences. She is the  Chair of the Department and Executive Chair of the Rehabilitation Sciences Sector. She is the past President of the Association of Canadian University Occupational Therapy Programs and past Scientific Director of Obesity Canada.

Areas of Research / Educational Scholarship

Dr. Forhan leads a program of research focused on bariatric care and rehabilitation that aims to reduce the disability experienced by persons living with obesity and by addressing factors in the built and social environment. She brings a strong foundation of clinical experience in the areas of mental health, acute care, community and home care to her research.
