Donna Barker
During her 18 years at the university, Professor Donna Barker was an Associate Professor, Teaching Stream and the department’s Director of Clinical Education. She retired in 2023 and is now Professor Emeritus. Prior to her work at the university, Professor Barker worked for twenty years in the health care system as an occupational therapy clinician and practice leader. She has extensive committee leadership experience within the healthcare and university environments. Professor Barker also served for six years as Academic Appointee on the Board of Directors and many committees of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
Areas of Research / Educational Scholarship
Professor Barker's research interests include innovation and student accommodations in clinical education, as well as clinical education within private practice.
