Biosketch

Sachindri Wijekoon, PhD, OT Reg. (Ont.) is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. She completed her PhD at Western University, and a postdoctoral fellowship at AGEWELL and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. She is currently a research associate at the Bloorview Research Institute’s ARC lab.

Dr. Wijekoon’s teaching and research interests centre on the axes of occupation, transitions, and aging. Her research approach is informed by occupational science, operationalizing an intersectional lens and qualitative methodology.
