100th Anniversary Breakfast

On 21 February 2018, the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy kicked off celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of occupational therapy education at the University of Toronto, and the birthday party was a tremendous success! Over 100 guests listened to comments by Faculty of Medicine Dean Trevor Young, MP Carolyn Bennett (Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs), MPP Kevin Flynn (Minister of Labour), and our Chair, Professor Susan Rappolt. Following the presentation, guests enjoyed delicious cake and coffee provided by our sponsors, Sweets from the Earth and Jimmy’s Coffee.  Read more about the event (OS&OT Celebrates 100 Years of Occupational Therapy Education at U of T), and view the photos and historical slide presentation below.

We wish to thank everyone who helped us celebrate the occasion: our guests, speakers, sponsors, and supporters:  Faculty of Medicine’s Office of Advancement and Communications Office, the Department of Family & Community Medicine, and our fabulous caterer, Raging Spoon.
