Karen Yau an OT Student

Karen Yau | MScOT Class of 2015

Karen was an incredibly active volunteer in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, taking leadership roles in a variety of outreach and mentorship activities. She led 10 volunteers and 100 students through Orientation Week events, acted as Student Ambassador during the Occupational Therapy Open House and Research Symposium, and was active on the Community Relations Committee. As for her future, Karen notes: “With an open mind and heart, I will continue cultivating my knowledge, skills, and experiences in the different areas of occupational therapy. No matter where I work, I will strive to promote the essence of occupational therapy and interprofessional collaboration.”
